Membership

APPRA shall be composed of three classes of members:

APPRA membership is open to committed peace researchers, peace educators and peace advocates who belong to the Asia-Pacific region as well as to non-Asia-Pacific persons engaged in peace work in the region. Membership is awarded on the basis of a proven record in peace involvement.
Besides the occasionally organized conference and seminars, communication among members is provided by information published in the APPRA homepage - http://www.appra.qut.edu.au - in the internet and facilitated by exchanges within the APPRA e-group.
While there are no fees to join APPRA, members are encouraged to give voluntary contributions for operational expenses and to purchase publications such as books, journals and newsletters.
If an APPRA member wishes to join the International Peace Research Association, the IPRA website http://www. ipraweb.orgwill give the necessary information.
